GRIND!!!! Not only have I've been doing this my entire life, I'll continue to do it... I won't stop because someone tells me, "I'm doing to much." I won't stop because I'm tired

I JUST WON'T STOP!!!! Everytime one of the facts come up, I reach for a high level. We never stop growing life. We as society believe physical growth for a male ends @ 21 and a female @ 18. From what I've learned and seen, that's not true at all. Ever since I've started my fitness journey a little over 6 years ago, I've continued to physically everyday. I've learned that you can't worry about what others say you can't do, most of the time it's because they have never achieved what you on your way of achieving.

Threw a new move into our routine. ISO Dumbbell Incline Press. When I say it is very difficult to cheat on this movement it is. Since I'm recovering from a shoulder injury, I decided to go slightly below parallel but focused on constant tension being loaded on the muscle. This movement you have to fully engage you core to prevent yourself from falling off of the pad. By the end of every set, my core was burning as if I was doing crunches or something. We are doing nothing but trying to be better than yesterday. Add this in during your next chest workout and let me know how it feels. People always talk about what they want to do but never show any effort towards it. @big_ty_russ and myself had a long convo and bring up our outer sweep of our quads. We did "close stance barbell squats" and "close stance leg press." Kept our reps high, with a moderately heavy weight but in a controlled motion. If you can push the high poundage of weight and control you motion. Go for it!!! But today we focused on the mind muscle connection while cutting down the rest time. This superset rEally kicked our tails. We realized that it's time to stop being average and showing what the #GOHARD365 lifestyle really means. ***disclaimer- with a closer stance with these movements, it's very challenging to break parallel without losing form. Squat to your comfort level. This stance is very tough on your knees and ankles and should not be done with extremely heavy weights. Please be careful and use extreme caution while trying these movements because injury make occur in a blink of an eye.***
I want to give a Huge s/o to my older brother @chap1214 for graduating from BMT today. Thru all the trials and tribulations you've been thru, you always continue to persevere... God bless you on completing the 1st step of your new career. Stay strong in tech school but I know you'll be fine... I love you and can't wait to join you in future battles.
This is the stuff I live for... They say, "Once you find the job you love, you'll never work a day in your life." And it's true. Since I've joined the military 2 years ago, I've had nothing but great times and great experiences that I may never be able to experience again... It's been a great ride and I wouldn't change it for the world... Where else in the world can you, work side by side with/for a F-16, fly a F-16 & fuel a F-16??? Only in the #USAF where the sky is the limit... Literally...

They are finally showing some growth. I suffer as do most African American males do, from Small black man calf syndrome lol. It took some time but they are starting to respond. Once I started to lower my weight and focus more on the centric and eccentric motion my results began to show. There's no stopping now, this is only the beginning.
Today I changed it up once again... I hit back pretty hard... Changed up some of my normal routines and added in a few new things... I moved all these weights slow and controlled, focusing on the mind and muscle connection.. No need to be a bully to the weights, just make sure they move when/how you want them to lol.... Changed it up a little today... Did my completed workout outside... It's was 85 degrees at 1030 this morning, so I saw the opportunity and I took it... No complaints, no one there to cheer me on, more importantly NO F**KIN EXCUSES!!! I didn't care that it was hot... I started of with a 2 mile warm up.
Once I finished, I did 2 sets of pull-ups for 10 reps each, super setted by 1 set of knee raises, and 1 set of straight leg lifts. Then immediately did 25 push ups. Once I completed that circuit I sprinted a 400m. That's a total of 10 sets of 10 reps of pull ups, leg lifts & knee raises, 100 push ups and another mile.
But I wasn't done, I finished off the workout with a 2 mile cool down... Making it a 5 mile day on the running... Not only did I get a nice tan lol, but and overall great all body workout... Can't wait to see how my legs feel tomorrow after this workout and legs yesterday... But everyone enjoy your week and be safe...
There comes a time in your life when you need to remember that you rule your own world. You have to do what is right for you and not others. Others will tell you what you can and can't do, but it's up to you to know what you want and will do.
There will be times when you feel as if you can't do it, but guess what??? You can! Just know there is always someone going through something worse than you and surviving. As long as you believe in yourself others will believe in you. It's as simple as that.

Have you ever had an ex wife? No not the one that changes your marital status. The ex-wife is a type of total body rollout massage. Well things to my brother @kyle_kl1 introduced me to a new best kept secret… My ex-wife…
The ex-wife not only stretches muscles and tendons but it also breaks down soft tissue adhesions and scar tissue. By using a weighted roller usually 130lb, but in this case an 80lb kettlebell you can have a massage or myofascial release, break up trigger points, and soothe tight fascia while increasing blood flow and circulation to the soft tissues. Also you forcing your muscles to get stronger by having to resist the weight.
Based on my experience with this by far is a lot more painful than being sore and rolling yourself out of the foam roller or even in the deep tissue massage. This type of weighted roll out will bring any grown man to his knees especially if you don't stretch. Trust me I seen it. At one point because my quads were a little tight they started to cramp up when it was resisting the weight on my quads. And I don't even want to talk about how he feels on the shin... Okay just imagine, you're chasing you little sibling around the house and BAMMNM💢💢💢!!! You hit your shin on the coffee table... Now times that's by 3... NO EXAGGERATION... This is something new that will be adding to my weekly regimen of stretching and massage therapy… I'll keep you posted on my journey and my progress from this…

When people say "let your haters be your motivators", I never understood that. I can't get motivated by someone with the haters mindset.
So what's my best advice when it comes with dealing with the haters?
Simple as that!
Anyone trying to stand in your way of progress and growth, in my opinion, is nothing more than a hater! Positive people love to see other positive people shinning. It's the Law of the Universe!
Visualize this picture in your mind whenever your haters show up. Continue to work toward progress and mentally knock out anyone standing in the way of you accomplishing your goals and dreams.
