#tbt when @figure_n8, @big_ty_russ and myself tore up the gym. Wasn't a soul ready for the carnage left. S**t we weren't even ready. It's always good vibes and knowledge when we like up. Wait until we link up next time
I will get stronger. @figure_n8 and I hit chest pretty hard yesterday. This is A quick flick of me doing floor presses. Haven't participated in these for over a year. When I was chasing 400 lbs on the bench a while back, I realized that my triceps weren't strong enough to push the weight once I had it off my chest. Once I incorporated this motion Into my chest workouts the weight started moving.
I'm not saying this this working will solve your problem with benching. I am just simply stating what has helped me in the past and sharing the experience. But if you want to know how to perform the workout here you got;
You want to begin this work out with the weight that finish off on the flat bench (but you can adjust accordingly)
Next you want to adjust yourself on the floor as you would on a normal flat bench. But your handgrip should be around 1 hand grip closer then it would be when you bench Regular. Because you want to strengthen the tris on this motion
Unrack the weight and perform a press but you will briefly pause at the bottom of the movement when your elbows touch the floor. Pausing increases difficulty of the movement by breaking the eccentric and concentric chain (taking out the stretch reflex). This builds tremendous starting strength and should give you a good carryover to your regular bench press. But be careful that you are not bouncing at the bottom because serious injury could occur
*I highly recommend you use a spot when I racking the weight due to the fact that your leg drive is eliminated in during this workout.* Give it a try and let me know it works.
To all the Veterans that have served, currently serving and in the process of serving, this day is for you. I appreciate you all and thank you for your service. Till this day when someone tells me, "thank you for your service" I always respond, "no thank you for letting me serve." It's because of the people that makes this all worth it. Thank all of you for everything
After 3 scoops of #megawatthd, this is what happens... It's leg day for @big_ty_russ and I, so it's time to activate the inner beast and tax these legs like the government does the dollar... What's your Monday looking like???
Now, one of the services you provide is giving them something to talk about.
Let 'em talk. It makes 'em happy, it makes 'em feel good.
They don't believe half the shit they say.
People wanna talk. Yeah, it's fun to talk
Wanted to give y'all the real footage. You can hear it in the scream that this was the real deal. 1000 lbs is 1000lbs. I actually hit it for a 10 count today. @big_ty_russ brought me into the gym on a whole new level of motivation. Our pre- gym talks always get me hyped. We are trying to bring a new type of motivation to the world and we have a lot in store for the world. Stay tuned for our new vibes.
#mood for today's workout with the bro @big_ty_russ... This is how we feel every time we train together... It's been over a week since we last trained together but that's nothing... But we about to punch our legs in the face!!!! Stay Tuned
Sometimes we lose sight of what we are truly fully capable of. That goes for physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
We begin to get into a groove of comfort that then puts an anchor and chain on our life and keeps us in that particular place. We began to forget what it's like to live life in an uncomfortable state. We then Cocoon ourselves in this blanket of comfort unwilling too come from under it as if you've awakened to a brisk fall morning in your room.
Just like on that brisk morning , you have to change me from under that blanket and become uncomfortable. There's no telling how long it will last, but it will subdue sooner or later. As you continue to step out of your comfort zone that's when your growth begins. Yes you grow when you're comfortable but growing and learning under feud makes the lesson more meaningful and memorable.
Make this a habit and it's almost impossible to not succeed.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and Happy Halloween everyone.
Some Friday motivation. Don't start the weekend off on the wrong foot, just RESET.

GM 👋🏼 Today could be the day you change your life.
Part of the reason why I'm still having back spasms and cramping today. We absolutely killed it in the gym last night. Tried a new routine that I've been working on and I think we found one. Can wait to see the results from this. Workout will be posted soon.

EVERYDAY IS A LEG DAY. From this day on, I will be doing some form of legs everyday. If I want them to grow, I will make them grow. I'm mentally in a really good place right now and my workouts truly reflect it. As long as I keep my mind in a clear and free place I can continue to maximize my workout. One this day particularly I did a super superset consisting of 10 sets of 10 with 225 on both squats and RDL with a rest period of 1-1 1/2 mins. I thought it would be easy but it was a killer. If any workout made me feel as if I was going to throw up, it was this one.
