Why do we love working with @semacondehair? Besides the fact thst she is an amazing colorist with hair extensions, she also is aTRUE inspiration to others. She continuly shares her knowledge on how to color, inspiring others to "push it to the limit". Her work is amazing and so is she. When you inspire others, you yourself grows as well.
I have never in my life been considered in shape. I have always had a battle with my weight in some way, but I'm proud to say that today, a mommy of two babies, is working towards being in the best shape of my life.

#5k run this afternoon was my first post-vacation workout. We walked about 10 miles a day in Portugal sightseeing so the run was a breeze! 👍 My stomach is a different story - felt like I was running with a ton of bricks. A week's worth of bread, cheese and wine will do that to you, but I have no regrets! 😜 I work my ass off and eat healthy overall so I can enjoy vacations like these without the guilt. Oh - in this pic I'm wearing one of the softest, prettiest and most comfortable headbands ever from #lifestyleheadbands (see the close up for detail) and I absolutely loved it - will totally be worn with jeans and a tee too. 💛
Day 23/ Healthy "FAST FOOD". You heard me...being busy and not prepping put me in a predicament to make poor choices. So far this weekend has consisted of these rice balls... a glass of red and margharitas. A yr ago I would focus on how bad this must be, how fat I will get and how much I'd destroy progress. This yr, I take note that it's the first drink I've had in 6 weeks, I only had 2 margaritas n not 5, and I chose a chicken salad after sharing the rice balls with the boyf. The small things help towards progress. Don't focus on negative, focus on the positive. I'm in control enough for it not to be a big deal and free enough to not let this rule how I feel about myself. I try n live by 90% 10% rule. This gives me leeway to slip to 20% even. It's bank holiday n I want to enjoy it. Training in session for Lake Hodges 50K Trail Race ... I decided to take on & commit to this challenge ... I feel privileged to be running with an ultra marathon training group running this race for my long runs on Sundays ... Ended today's LEGS workout on the leg curl machine, some say it's the hardest but for me it's the easiest.
WOD: 4 sets Pistol Squats, 4 sets Olympic Bar Squats, 3 sets Walking Lunges, 4 Sets Leg extension, 4 sets Leg Curl & 8 sets on the Calves Machine💪
We passed through Manhattan, Brooklyn Williamsburg Bridge, Queens Queensboro Bridge and back 😳💪 💦When I got to the 12 mile mark at Queensboro bridge and saw how longggg it was my muscles started to slow down on me the little voice in my head was like dammmmm look how long that ish is take a break and I said Nope not today body! Lmao and kept going kept up with the marathon runners the whole time like I do this for a living 💪haha it's all a mind game when it comes to training those last few mins where your body starts to slow down on you is where you really challenge and make changes for yourself that's where the real growth comes in...you can do it, your mind and body plays tricks on you but just don't stop can't stop is what you gotta tell yourself 💪
No matter what it looks like, keep going! Even when you feel you haven't made progress, when you think you have a long way to go, when you don't feel like doing it anymore. Just keep going! Understand, this is a lifestyle change, not a diet or quick fix. If I takes me 5 more years to look like I ultimately want, so be it! Stop trying to rush things. You've been overweight for more than two weeks, so expect it to take just as long to be UNFAT. It's a process. Just trust it!
