Arden Fanning Andrews head shot - Vogue

Arden Fanning Andrews

Vogue Beauty Editor-at-Large

Arden Fanning Andrews, Vogue’s Beauty Editor-at-Large, started her career with the magazine a decade ago. Yes, her Vogue TikTok closet tour is an all-time highlight, and her favorite (first-ever) podcast is The Run-Through. She loves connecting the dots between fashion, culture, and beauty, from transforming into Barbie to covering Paris Fashion Week (sometimes convincing Kate Moss to do her makeup, sometimes lurking in pajamas) and chatting with fabulous artists, founders, doctors, and scientists delivering the breaking news we can use. Life at large started with a Texas-sized degree in apparel design and a London internship with Luella, which led to a trend forecasting position in New York and a very short stint in fashion PR. Working the beloved Smiths Morrissey party at Sway (DJed by late designer Ben Cho) brought her to Moda Operandi, where she wrote for the then-startup’s digital magazine and helped style editorial shoots before landing her dream job at Vogue. Her writing and interviews can also be found in The New York Times, T Magazine, Vanity Fair, Artnet, Paper Magazine, W, Tush Magazine, GQ, and more.
