GIVE Volunteer Program: Laos 2018

Hello!
Before school starts for the Fall semester in 2018, I aspire to journey to Laos to volunteer in the Growth International Volunteer Excursions. In the village of Sop Chem, I will be assisting in teaching English to children and embarking on construction projects focusing on sustainable building.

The cost for the trip totals $1895 for the trip, and about $1000 for a plane ticket (fees exlude cost for vaccines and travel insurance). With about 7 months to raise money (May 20th is the desired deadline), I believe it is an attainable goal!
I will fundraise using other methods and will post updates frequently! But with the cost of the trip, donations would mean a lot to me. I am going to write a blog/ article when I arrive home and will provide a link on my Facebook account!
