Baby of the Storm, Panama City

Baby Luke Capps was born October 13, 2018 as Hurricane Michael, the third most intense Atlantic hurricane to make landfall, was wrecking havoc on the Florida panhandle.

Following his birth, baby Luke and his family were  pushed out of the hospital and into the streets with his parents. The Capps family headed home to nothing, their house destroyed, the roof missing, everything was soaked and most of their area completely flattened. The family tries to take there two day old baby back to the hospital to seek shelter and were denied at the door and told to go to a shelter.

Two day old baby in hand, wounds of wife still fresh from birth , Papa Capps reluctantly takes his family to a shelter. But when they arrive the shelter is being evacuated. The shelter was being flooded by sewage, so they look into the next shelter that was also sewage filled. People using the bathroom in the corners of building. This is no place to take a two day old baby and recovering mother. Papa Capps then drives to a Walmart parking lot.

As they sit in the Walmart parking lot trying to keep Baby Luke healthy in the 85 degree weather of a parking lot. They were approached by a contracted security guard of Walmart. This former marine, now security guard, jumps into action and calls another former marine and they then make a quick plan to help this family

Now here we are. We along with Deanovich & associates, Walmart employees and Walmart truck driver have pulled money, supplies and everything we can to help Baby Luke.

We are trying to raise enough money to help this amazing family who have fought to get away from the hands of the devil and now come from the depths of this natural disaster. That had there life on the right path for there children and had everything taken by a storm.

Hoping to get them a place to live, pay their bills and get what supplies they need to provide for their family until they are back on their feet.

Please look at your family, look at pictures of your kids when they were 2 days old and tell your heart what you would have done dumped in to a hurricane with no place to go.

Please help this sweet family out, anything will help as they are trying to find their way again.
