Animal Rescue Shanghai

I am setting this up for a no-kill shelter which rescues animals from the streets of Shanghai. The family which runs this shelter, spend their entire life dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats. They need urgently help to pay their vet bills, medication and food for their currently 37 dogs and 4 cats. Since the mass killings of stray dogs in big cities, most shelters are full and the situation is very critical. Besides, as many as you know, dogs in China are still not seen in the same way as in Europe and the winter is usually the hardest time for stray dogs and cats to survive.

I am a German girl living in China, visited this shelter and saw with how much love and compassion they are saving street dogs and cats. Recently they even had to sell their car to pay for the vet expenses for their little friends. The vehicle was not just necessary to buy supplies, but also to transport the dogs to the shelter or vet. The public transportation in China doesn’t allowed animals, so the only way to transport food and animals is a taxi. Because the shelter is located in a suburb of Shanghai, the taxi fee is around 200RMB (27Euro) coming from the city to the shelter.

This family rely on the support of our community to continue to save these animals from the streets of Shanghai. Please help me to raise fund for their shelter and maybe we help to get some of this doggies and kittens adopted! Every life matters!
