CLEfoodies Loses Her Baby Machine Gains A GoFundMe

As some of you already know my dear friend Tricia, aka CLEfoodies, has been diagnosed with cancer for a second time. As she is recovering from surgery and starting chemotherapy I am trying to raise money to help with all her medical expenses. She is currently facing a tough battle, but she is one of the strongest women I know. In order to take the added stress of her medical bills out of the picture I created this go fund me page so she can focus her energy on her treatment and recovery. Tricia is one of the most kind hearted people I know, as she welcomed me with open arms into the Cleveland food scene when I moved here two years ago. Since then we have become such great friends and I would do anything to make sure she is happy and healthy. Please read her story below and remember any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated!

Tricia thought her cancer story was behind her in 2013 after winning a battle with Thyroid cancer. This experience motivated her to start her well-known Instagram blog, CLEfoodies. In the years since, she put her head down and worked hard to showcase many talented Cleveland restaurants as well as help entrepreneurs and students learn how to use social media to get ahead.

Things were going well until the day after Christmas when her doctor called to tell her she had cancer once again. This time she managed to simultaneously get uterine and ovarian cancer which resulted in her having to have a complete hysterectomy. She is about to start chemotherapy treatments and has an estimated six month recovery time. It’s hard to believe how many bills she has already received as this just started in late December, and unfortunately there will be many more in the up and coming months. So if you can, please help Tricia out so she can have one less worry and concentrate on her recovery.
