I own Chasing Rainbows Native American Store , 458 S. Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena, California. I previously worked in the film industry and was honored to have had many actors, musicians and one late U.S. President own my artwork. Needless to say that I am very passionate about my art. Since the age of 14, I have wandered into antique stores, searched estate sales and scoured many flea markets looking for unusual and found objects to incorporate into my art. I am known in the Los Angels area for using vintage beads, old photographs, ephemera, square head nails circa 1800’s, 1950-60’s furniture, retro handbags, suitcases and altering them into fashionable accessories and home decor. After many years of researching the spiritual and healing properties of the semiprecious stones that I work with , I have written the stone meanings from my Native American perspective . Metaphysical meanings of the stones will be included with jewelry by request. I spend endless hours in my Pasadena, CA home based art studio and my brick and mortar store creating my one of a kind works of art .
