Thank you for visiting Sparkles by Viv. I'm Viv, the creative mind behind the handmade jewelry and accessories you'll find here. I've always had a deep passion for design, particularly in the realm of fashion and accessories. My journey into jewelry-making began as a way to balance my roles as a mother of three and an enthusiast for creativity.

Back in 2018, I decided to take a step back from my polymer clay work due to family commitments and personal pursuits. During that time, I dedicated myself to completing a master's degree, which coincided with the challenging period of the Covid lockdown. This led me to embrace a full-time job, which further postponed my creative endeavors. However, I've come to realize that life without polymer clay work feels incomplete to me. The joy of crafting unique pieces and connecting with customers like you is a part of who I am, and I'm now fully committed to rekindling this passion.

Every piece of jewelry you see here is meticulously handmade by me in the comfort of my own home. Crafting each piece is a labor of love, taking anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to complete. This process includes shaping the clay, carefully baking it, and then painstakingly sanding, buffing, and applying multiple coats of glaze to protect the intricate design. For certain designs that benefit from a matte finish, I devote additional time to hand-buffing and applying a specialized jewelry wax. It's a lengthy and intricate process, but the end result is incredibly rewarding.

What sets my jewelry apart is its inherent uniqueness. The techniques I employ to create textures ensure that each piece is one-of-a-kind. You'll never find an identical item because each design has its own story and character.

My hope is that my jewelry reflects a part of me – vibrant and cheerful, glamorous yet delightfully quirky. I'm here to help you discover or create a piece that represents your unique style and personality.
