ABOUT DESIGNER
Wareda Shah, a Bangladeshi fashion designer, has grown up in the Middle East, designs exclusive lines for young individuals. Her designs combine minimalism and contemporary esthetics with sharp details, making them trendy for a new generation. She designed a gown for "Miss Universe Bangladesh 2019 Shirin Akter Shela" and collaborated with the luxury fashion house Zurhem based in Bangladesh. Wareda also holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion & Textile Design from the University of Portsmouth, UK.
Multi-cultural influences have strongly impacted her designs which include traditional womenswear for Ramadan (2015-2016) collections for Saudi Arabian - based fashion brand Lomar. She also conducts fashion drawing workshops to empower women (2015-present). Her work has earned her recognition - WAM by FEMI 9 and Young Women Organization based in Saudi Arabia nominated her for International Women’s Day (2016), whilst Luxury Lifestyle Award based in the UK recognized her innovative minimal clothing collection (2016).
Wareda specializes in creating high-end seasonal fashion collections with detailed embroidery and interesting textile designs. With the "Graduate Fashion Boutique" visit www.graduatefashionboutique.co.uk established in UK since 2022, Wareda is helping to create an community that enables new designers to grow in the global fashion market.
