Option 1: UBER and search Lime Tree Cafe & Kitchen (Sheikh Zayed Road)

Option 2: Take the train and stop at FAB Metro Station (Sea side). From the metro station to Lime tree, walk for around 6 minutes.

Option 3: Drive but the parking is quite of a long haul (depends on the time though).

Q: What coffee do you recommend?
It depends on your mood and taste perhaps. I ordered a macchiato (single hot)
I heard that they serve local coffee and it is always fair-trade and organic.

REVIEW: Nando’s UAE (Sheikh Zayed Road Branch)

Nando’s: home of the original  flame-grilled chicken Peri-peri restaurant

How to get there?

Option 1: Take the train and stop at Financial Metro station / Emirates Tower Metro Station. From the metro station to Nando’s, you just need to walk around 4-5 minutes.

Option 2: Book an Uber and just search Nando’s Saeed Tower II.

The extra hot flame grilled chicken of course!!! (thigh part, please!!)
I hope they can cook it better (e.g. not making it dry)

No, it’s better to enjoy the chicken with a friend or your colleagues!

Yes. Their neighbours are usually offices.

Yes!

Sometimes, it is crowded but you don’t have to wait (whewwww~)

Chicken?? Never!

Yes!

Yes! It’s a family restaurant!

Yes, it’s better to eat outside especially during winter.

Q: Can you smoke inside?
No. (Better to smoke outside; they have outdoor seating remember?!!)
Q: Do they serve alcohol?
Unfortunately, no. #sad
Q: Is it expensive or cheap? 
We spent 82 AED for 2 pieces of chicken with fries and spicy rice (plus one bottle of water). To have a discount, we used Entertainer.  So, it’s a bit cheap compared to other restaurants.

Sky Restaurant (Korean Restaurant) – Golden Tulip Al Barsha Hotel 

How to get there?

Option 1: UBER and type Golden Tulip Al Barsha Hotel. Once you have reached the hotel, go to the 1st floor and turn left.

Option 2: TRAIN and taxi or walk. Take the train and stop at Sharaf DG Metro Station (Landside). Then, you can either walk (which is 11-12 minutes away) or take a cab and tell the driver to drop you at Golden Tulip Al Barsha Hotel.

Option 3: If you’re driving, just go to Golden Tulip Al Barsha Hotel. Heads up! The parking is a bit of a struggle (especially on weekends).

If your friends are asking you where to have a brunch, lunch or dinner, Sapori’s doors are open from 12 noon to 12:30 in the evening and the usual cost to taste their exquisite dishes of Italian cuisine is 240 AED. But, if you’re under house arrest, too tired to drive and deal with traffic, or far from City Walk, they can also deliver the food! What a good news for introverts and on-the-go yuppy, right?

Review: Enab Beirut (Citywalk)

Winter is coming but it’s not too late to obey your thirst and get some frozen drinks in Enab Beirut (City Walk).

Last week, we went to Citywalk just to chill and catch up with some friends. I mean, cmon, after five days of work, we needed to unwind for an hour or two at least, right? You don’t need  alcohol to relieve your stress. Sometimes, you just need good camaraderie and refreshing drinks!

We didn’t come inside the restaurant, for two reasons: good weather and unbearable laugh. Anyway, here’s our review of the frozen drinks in the restaurant. We ordered frozen strawberry, mango, and watermelon rosemary. Each drink costs 25 AED and it’s one of the best frozen drinks that we’ve ever tasted! It’s not too sweet and it has the right amount of ice.
