Hey guys!
Long time no blogpost. I always say I’m going to keep up with my blog but never quite get around to it.  Well it’s January 6th of 2017 (crazy right?!?!!!) and I’m making it an official resolution of the New Year to pay more focus to the blogging side of things.  The last blogpost I wrote was on Jord Wooden Watches, a fantastic company who reached out to collaborate with me, and today I’m bringing another incredible company out to play! This company – if you haven’t already guessed from the title- is Smile Brilliant.

Jord and Me

Hey guys!!!

I deeply apologize for how absent I’ve been on the blogging side! I’ve been extraordinarily busy transitioning to a new job, attempting to keep some semblance of a social life, and keep up with a hobby (@ribbonsinmyhair on instagram)- which requires a whole lot more TLC than I’d care to admit!  Today I’m writing a blogpost on one of the fantastic companies that reached out to me through my instagram account called Jord. They’re associated with the website woodwatches.com.  Jord generously sent me a wooden women’s watch from their ‘Frankie’ series to review for their Fall Campaign.

Just so you get an idea of what this watch looks like, here’s a shot of this beauty in its box: 15055848_10154502931290210_4268043911725242649_n

What I wish I knew when I started University (The Bitter-Sweet End)

Guys!
I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I’m officially done my undergraduate degree! It’s crazy. I can’t believe how fast four of the best and worst years of my life have gone. When I think back at my expectations of university in my senior year of high school, it seems surreal.  I can honestly say that my university experience was nothing like I thought it’d be.  There are so many things I wish someone had told me, or taught me before I entered some of the most important years of my life.  So here it is, my words of wisdom to those who are about to start, have started, or are nearing the end of this crazy journey. The Inevitable ‘#Whatsinmybag’ Blogpost

Hey Guys!

It’s been a shamefully long time since I’ve written a blog post.  I’m such an inconsistent blogger, I hardly qualify for the title and I apologize for that! I hope everyone’s holidays were filled with lots of food, fun, and family (mine was!) Today, on this beautifully lazy Sunday, I thought I’d write a blog post on what’s in my bag. I have a mix of things in my bag today, and they’re an even split of Continue reading

Why My Enemy is Me

I never understood why people say “you are your own worst enemy.”
The first time I ever heard this saying I scoffed. I could name a list of people who qualified as an ‘enemy’ of mine, starting with a girl named Cara who stole my oatmeal cookie in the 1st grade.  I, myself, was definitely not on that list.  In fact, I often feel like I’m the only one on my side. Y’know? Continue reading

A check off my bucket list

Summer’s coming to a close (though I hate to admit it) and I was fortunate enough to spend 3 days camping in Tobermory with eight of my favourite people.  Words and pictures do little to no justice, so go see it for yourself, really. You won’t regret it. Though the stars and smores were a definite highlight, being able to check something off my bucket list was out of this world… Continue reading
