Artist Statement

How I Got Started

It was high school when my love story with art started.  All those swirls, colors and shapes amazes me that soon became a hobby.  I’m not an art major nor graduated to anything related to art. I am a psychology graduate specializing in Career Management and Human Resource.

After two decades of working in the corporate world, I have finally decided to pursue my true passion by doing it full time.   

I read, watch and did my research on all things that can help me understand art more deeper – a self-taught! 

All these years, my creations are inspired by contemporary art through shapes colors, and nature around me. My subjects consist of figurative, portrait, mixed media and abstract.

Abstract is my favorite of all subjects because it has no boundaries and there are no rules!  I start by visualizing and then going in with the flow where the paints lead me. Abstract painting technique offers an artist many unique tools of expression. Nothing you make will be like the work of anyone else. It will be utterly your own. When it’s comes to medium. I used acrylic, oil, charcoal, colored pencil, and pastel chalk.
