SXSW 2020
City Change Through Play
Description:
Play is something people of all demographics can understand, and it is an action that can begin to bridge divides within cities and communities. But it is not a word you commonly hear associated with urban development or city change, and with this panel we want to talk about how it can begin to affect our built environment, public policies, and everyday lives. We will be exploring a variety of playable ideas and trends of different scales from around the world that show why play should not be undervalued when it comes to the talk of city change and development.
