 Hi there- welcome to my blog! If you follow me on Instagram you’re probably already familiar with my story, but if not here’s a little summary:

I started my journey 3 years ago as an overweight, insecure teen, looking to change her poor eating habits and lazy attitude towards exercise.  Little did I know when I started to lose weight that this was much more than just a diet, but a lifestyle. I swapped process foods for natural whole foods, stopped using food as my comfort and found a new love for exercise.

Then about 2 years ago, after successfully losing 3 stone, I set up @Healthyeatingemma to share my story and meet other likeminded people. It wasn’t an easy 3 years at all; I had time where I lacked motivation, became obsessed with numbers and pushed my body to unhealthy limits. But, 2 years on, I’m proud of where I’ve got to, and that’s why I set up this blog in the hope of inspiring others to lead a healthier lifestyle, by sharing my recipes and workouts, but also showing you that you don’t have to exercise 7 days a week and eat salads all day everyday to be healthy. Of course I still have a lot of learning to do and I’m eager to learn more.
