Spring Is Here!!

Jacket:  Zara (2015) // Tie-Die T-Shirt:  unknown (thrift find) // Black Jeans:  G-Star (2014) //        Sneakers:  Nike Air Huarache Light "Eclipse" Pack (2015) Available at Size? // Sunglasses:  Gucci // Necklace:  my own making

It seems winter has gone all the sudden and quick this year, and I feel like I haven't enjoyed winter clothes enough. Anyways, it's too warm to wear heavy coats and jackets. I hope there are going to be few more cold days this month, so that I get to wear winter clothes one last time.
I'm wearing this Zara jacket for the first time, and it's such a fun piece to wear! The jacket is asymmetrical and has a hook closure on left shoulder. These features give very unique look when putting on, and I love how this jacket fits. Along with the jacket, I'm wearing a tie-die t-shirt and a beads necklace. Tie-die t-shirts has grown big in me lately, so I may be wearing them more often in this spring.
It has been raining a lot due to a change of seasons. Looks like it finally cleared up, and spring began officially. Hope everyone has a great day. I'll see you in the next post.

Sometimes It's Nice To Be Small

Jacket:  Maison Martin Margiela x H&M (2012) // T-shirt:  H&M (2013) // Jeans:  GAP (2013) //      Shoes:  Dr. Martens (vintage) // Sunglasses:  Christian Dior // Necklace:  ebay //                                    Belt:  consignment store (vintage)

Sorry that It took me a while to write a new post. I've been busy catching up with my projects, and I hurt my foot during martial arts practice last week, so I had to rest for a few days to recover. Moreover, it has been raining all this week. Finally sun is back, and I took some photos.
I'm wearing a H&M x Maison Martin Margiela collaboration leather jacket today, my favorite leather jacket in my collection. This jacket is women's, but I'm small enough to fit in. I feel quite fortunate that I can enjoy this jacket. These jeans by GAP are woman's as well. I often have hard time to find my size in man's wear, so I've worn any clothes that fit me whether they are man's or woman's. I can say this is the secret of my styling.
Well, I feel good that I can move around. I'll be careful not get hurt again. See you in the next post!

Wanna Be Like....

Coat:  vintage from 70's (ebay) // Shirt:  (thrift find) // Flare Pants:  Dickies (thrift find) //                                           Platform Shoes:  Vintage clothing store // Sunglasses:  Christian Roth //                                  Rings and bracelet:  Vintage Native American jewelries (antique mall) // Necklace:  vintage Navajo (ebay)

I suppose most people have their fashion icons. I have these 2 people in my heart I always get inspired from. One is an Italian fashion model, Mariacarla Boscono. It's amazing how she mix new clothes and vintage clothes together and create her own look!! I totally adore her style.
The other is a rock star, Lenny Kravits. I really don't tell how awesome he is. Everything he wears is on point, and he's always got the glam!! Moreover, he's got such nice taste on accessories. I wish I could take a look at the collection of jewelries he owns.

Here is the look I get inspired from the jacket photo of Lenny's album, "Are You Gonna Go My Way." I always love that psychedelic rock star look, so I'm trying to capture the essence and show my version.
Have a nice Monday, and I'll see you in the next post

A Study in Black Outfits

Jacket:  vintage from 70's // T-shirt:  KR3W (consignment store) // Pants:  H&M (2014) //
Sneakers:  Nike (2013) // Sunglasses:  Christian Roth // Bracelet:  skinny studded belt (thrift find) //
Ring:  my own making

Here, I'm trying to revive the look from the past. Long time ago, I saw a photo on a fashion magazine. A model was wearing black outfits, shearing moto jacket, t-shirt, leather pants, and moto boots, all by Helmut Lang. It was a quite shocking experience, for black outfits had never looked so good. Since then, I've been a big fan of all black look.

I can't help adding a little twist, for just duplicating the look seems boring. I'm putting on a white graphic t-shirt instead of a black top. For the footwear, I'm wearing rather unusual sneakers. These called Nike Foamposite One, and I know they are ugly!! But sometimes, things that are so ugly and hideous have their own charm or beauty, and it shines when they are worn properly.

This is how it turned out. I guess this works alright. Hope everyone has a great weekend, and I'll see you in the next post.

Painted Jeans Blues

Jacket:  Dolce & Gabbana (vintage from 80's) // Disco Shirt:  Nik Nik (vintage from 70's) // Jeans:  Levi's (vintage from 80's) // Western Boots:  Tony Lama (thrift find) // Sunglasses: Gucci //
Necklace: my own making // Ring: ebay (vintage modernist piece)

I am quite found of 70's fashion, so I usually mix some 70's essence into my style. It's pretty obvious in this outfits. Disco shirts are particularly fun, they are so loud and sassy! I usually wear them with bell bottom or boots cut jeans. This time, I pulled out one of my special jeans. Years back, I got these boots cut jeans at a consignment store and put paint on in collaboration of my best friend. He was such an artist, and I was very happy how everything turned out. I can never thank him enough for help.

Here was the result. I don't like to wear a loud top and loud bottom together, for they often conflict, but this combination just worked fine! Putting together with this tweed jacket and western boots, I could rock all day long! See you in the next post!

Let's get it started!

Jacket:  vintage // T-shirt:  Dolce & Gabbana (old) // Jeans:  Diesel (old) // Boots:  vintage //
Sunglasses:  Ksubi

It's nice to start a new blog in new year! I am writing this to let the world know that even a small person like myself can have fun and use fashion as a tool to express who I am. I'm not chasing trends, but I always want to wear things fit in my personal style; otherwise I feel very uncomfortable and dull. Anyways, it's just fashion. Many people say it's utter rubbish, yet I love and enjoy fashion, and that's the most important thing.

I got this jacket at a local vintage clothing store last week. It was a lady's jacket, but I fell in love with it at  first sight. When I tried it on, it fit perfectly on me, and I knew I could pull it off, so I just snatched it!! Now, I'm wearing it with boots cut jeans and pointy boot. This way, my legs don't look so short, and I can keep my dignity!! Hope everyone have a nice Sunday. See you soon!
