Guided fishing services
Trips are arranged on an individual basis ranging from a half day, to several days. We accommodate all skill levels catering to those fresh to fly-fishing, anyone looking to improve their skills on the water, or highly advanced anglers. We strive to not only get you hooked up on fish, but also highlight the solitude which many of our destinations offer in the northern portion of California. If you have a family, or business party of 4 or more anglers that want to fish together, we have multiple guides to make it happen. Our guides are all full-time, locally born and raised, professional, patient, and take pride in ensuring your experience on the water is fulfilled.
ABOUT MATT
Matt Dahl was born and raised in the Redding area where he currently resides with his family. He was introduced to his passion of fly-fishing at a young age by his father and grandfather, where he learned the local waters and how to stalk trout. Matts greatest passion is chasing steelhead and swinging flies with a spey rod. Although he can be found fly-fishing on his days off, his greatest satisfaction is teaching the sport and educating others on the water.
Coming from a military family and a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the United States Marine Corps, Matt finds great pleasure in being active with Veterans on the water and promoting the therapeutic influences which fly fishing can offer.
Full Day
$600 LOWER SAC ; $650 TRINITY RIVER; $675 WINTER STEELHEAD
2 anglers on a drift boat/ raft, or walk and wade. We include all the gear to include fly rods, flies, and other essentials for targeting fish. Includes all equipment (with the exception of waders). Optional lunch and drinks are provided. Full day is 7-8 hours
Half Day
2 anglers on a drift boat or walk and wade. Includes all equipment (with the exception of waders) drinks are provided. Half day is 3-4 hours. Half days are only offered on the Lower Sacramento River
