Save Our Cavs

We are an organization that raises funds for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels affected by syringomyelia and chiari malformation. Chiari malformation, known as CM, and Syringomyelia, commonly known as SM, are prevalent among the breed. These debilitating and painful conditions are commonly misdiagnosed and difficult to treat.

Between veterinarian and specialist visits, medication, MRI's, testing, and surgery, treating CM and SM can cost thousands of dollars. In many cases, the costs are too great for many people to bear. We want to help our fellow members of the Cavalier community. Our aim is to help the financial burden by providing grants to owners, one furry little lovebug at a time.

Every day, Cavaliers are untreated, surrendered, and euthanized due to the financial difficulties with these conditions. We need to start awarding grant aid to Cavalier sufferers ASAP. Our first big fundraising push is to obtain a 501(c)(3) non-profit status, which will allow for tax-deductible donations, greater fundraising possibilities, and sponsorship opportunities.
