Hi! My name is Anna Coy and I'm excited to announce that I'm one of a few to be selected as an official state finalist for the 2019 Miss New York USA Pageant. This is the first time in my life that I've ever entered, let alone compete in a pageant. Now that I've been presented this opportunity, I want to make sure I'm fully prepared to possibly represent the great state of New York to the best of my ability and to show everyone how much beauty there is in confidence.
To make it possible for me to compete in all phases of competition, there is a sponsorship fee required. The money raised will be soley utilized for my running, which covers lodging/transportation, meals, also items needed to best present myself to both audience and judges (pageant gown, suit, swimsuit, shoes, hair & makeup artist, etc). As you might be aware, the Miss New York pageant is a prelude to the Miss America Pageant, an event that millions watch each year and hopefully one day I can also be a part of. The total amount I am raising is $2500. As a sponsor, your sponsorship may be tax deductible as an advertising expense. In addition, you will receive recognition in the Official Pageant Program Book and of course your contribution will help ease my progression in the competition by allowing me to give my full focus and attention to my pageant duties.
I haven't always lived in New York but out of all the places I've lived, New York has taught me the most about myself and has shifted my perspective on life dramatically. Since making New York my home over 2 years ago I've rediscovered my passion for Art (portrait sketching, oil painting, etc.) which I'm actively pursuing now along side modeling/acting. Since being in this beautifully diverse city I've been inspired to take part first hand into causes that internally move me such as environmental cleanups, spreading knowledge on the foot prints our lifestyles place on our earth through healthy living and veganism, improving the welfare of the less fortunate, and sharing my passion for animal advocacy. For anyone who knows me personally, knows that I have a strong passion for animals where as a child and into my young adult years I volunteered sided by side by a Veterinarian who I'm grateful to consider him as one of my mentors. I've dreamed of opening a sanctuary for animals who have been horribly mistreated and need more than the average family can provide.
As a contestant I want a larger community to know what I have to offer. Being a woman of multiple backgrounds (Dominican/Slovakian & Austrian born) it's important for me to be an inspiration for those to pursue their dreams and passions no matter where they come from. I love speaking to the woman in my life daily about self love and empowerment. I'd love to fill a roll where I'm in the position to help others to a larger scale. Please help me do this and more. Your donation, whatever the amount, will be greatly appreciated and will place me closer to doing more of what the world needs.
