Help Heather See Her Specialists

Hello, my name is Heather. I am 32 years old. Let me tell you a little bit of myself. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I had worked 2 jobs for over 10 years before I got sick. I love working with the public and being that person that could bring a smile to your face no matter what the situation. My Starbucks job was my favorite!
I started feeling sick, so I changed my lifestyle to become healthier and fit, while I was still working an 80-hour work weeks. I had lost 60 lbs and felt great, for a while. Then, out of nowhere, I slowly started feeling constantly sick. The sickness grew as the days went on. After a year of different blood tests, they finally diagnosed me with Lupus. Lupus is an auto-immune disease. Lupus effects everyone differently, but it attacks some of your major organs. My symptoms are pain from head to toe in my bones, my whole body swells up to 3 sizes in a single day from inflammation. My skin all over my body is red, like a sunburn, but I don’t go in the sun. The muscles in my hands and legs give out on me sporadically leaving me weak and sometimes immobile. My fatigue is horrible and my skin is extremely sensitive in which I simply bump into something and it doesn’t bruise me; my skin tears open, and that cut takes anywhere from 2-6 months to heal.
Throughout the year the symptoms have been getting worse, so bad the doctors have no idea when I can return to work. To this day it has now been almost 2 years of not having the opportunity to go back to work.
My most recent lab results state that I no longer have Lupus, however, my symptoms have not improved and I am back at ground 0, starting over again and trying to figure out what is wrong. The doctors are just as confused as I am.
In these 2 years I have accumulated an insane amount of debt from all my medical bills and loans.
My doctors and I would love it if I could go to a university with different doctors who specialize in the field of health problems that I have that can help me, however they don’t accept my insurance.
I am finally putting my pride aside and asking for help to pay the bills and get into one of the universities and really find out what’s causing my sickness.
My medical bills and loans are now up to $40,000.00 and I have no idea what the universities would end up charging me. I am trying to raise my funds to pay off my past bills that have accumulated, as well as increasing my opportunity to get into a specialist.
