My love and curiosity for Art, Sewing and Crafting and diverse work background has made it difficult to just focus on creating one item or to stay diligent in one medium when creating inventory for my shop.

I Daphne, as the Owner and Head Creator at Daphnes Studio, am an avid crafter who sews. Taught sewing for both children and adults at the old G-Street Fabrics. I also had the pleasure of going to Bernina U in Chicago to learn about what was back then, the new computerized sewing and embroidery machines.

Sometimes my sewing machine is my instrument of choice to birth a new creation. Handcrafted Gifts from the Heart, which can vary from hats, jewelry, clothing, assorted pillows, personalized pillows, stuffed toys, window treatments, assorted wall and fiber art and accessories for both the Young and Young at Heart including miniatures and doll stuff, of which I create my own patterns.
I wield a glue gun as confidently as I use my table saw adding to my inventory a variety of wood products, big and miniature. I love to design macrame jewelry, clothing, and lamps. wall hangings and accessories as well as crochet quilts, pillows, clothing, and accessories. Art pieces are created in miniature as well as large scale compositions using mediums such as tissue paper, acrylics, watercolors, pen and ink, wire, or a combination.
