Bluebirds n' Buttons specializes in handmade gifts, jewelry, primitives, and home décor. Although our little shop has only been up and running since early 2015, we have been crafting and creating for many years!

Donna, with 53 years of crafting experience, has always sketched and drawn, having learned from her mother. She excelled in art in high school, then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Education, with an emphasis on teaching Commercial Art and Art. Having studied portraiture under Harry Fredman, she went on to teach art for three years. She has experience working as a graphic artist and as a typesetter. From 1982 to 1990, Donna and two friends formed The Memory Lane Trio, and performed all over Western Missouri. They had an Andrew Sisters act, which won awards, and had 50's and country segments to their shows. They performed in several years of roadshows with the youth in their church, always writing the trio into the 12 minute script. Recently she has retired from running a ceramic shop for 16 years, working with developmentally disabled adults.

Natalie, with 23 years of crafting experience, has also enjoyed creating since she was a child. Her main emphasis during her education was Business, and has managed multiple businesses throughout her career. She has experience in flower arranging, cake decorating, mural painting, and jewelry design. When she was in high school, she designed and painted a five wall mural for a local library. She is dedicated to her family, and has a deep love for animals. She advocates for the deaf community with her husband ever since her daughter was born deaf ten years ago.

We are a family business that thrives on customer service, and we welcome any feedback or questions that you may have! We try our best to accommodate in any way we can!
