New Year...New Me?

This year I've finally decided to give blogging a go. For the past 5 or so years I have followed so many other blogs and always wanted to begin writing myself but I always stopped myself because I thought who the hell would want to read a blog written by me?

But this year I've decided I don't care! Even if that means my blog is only read by my boyfriend, I'm going to do something creative and something I enjoy. 

So here it is. My first blog post. 

My name is Anita, I'm 26 years old and I live in the South East of England. I'm currently living with my boyfriend, Enrico, with his parents while we save for a mortgage deposit. Fun times!

I spent a lot of the festive period feeling quite down and depressed. And it was all due to the fact I didn't have a hobby. There was nothing I could say when people asked "What do you do for fun?" other than eating and sleeping (basically I'd like to be a koala). 

And so this blog has come to life. I had a little nudge from blogger VIPXO, who unexpectedly followed me on Twitter the other day and told me to go for it regarding blogging. So fuck it, that's what I'm doing!

Right now I'm not going to fully outline what my blog will become, because god knows! But it will at least be a mish mash of life, recipes, travels and materialistic things I don't need. The usual really. 

I guess all that's left for me to say is: Happy New Year! (and happy reading, I hope..).
