Season 2 of Save Our Shelter is under way! Hosts Rocky Kanaka and Rob North are looking for the next Shelters across North America to makeover and help save shelters and lives!

The show had an awesome first season. We provided support to 15 shelters and had some amazing results. Some shelters have reported back that they have seen up to 40% increases in adoptions and upwards of 25% increase in volunteers! One shelter was gifted pop-up space in the city’s Civic Center to educate their community on animal adoption.

For Season 2, we will be working with shelters in the following cities: Los Angeles, Phoenix, Miami, Toronto. If your shelter is not in these cities, you can still apply and we will retain your application for consideration next season.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long do I have to apply for Season 2?
A: Shelter selection is on a first come first serve basis, so get your applications in as soon as possible! The hard deadline for the Los Angeles area is July 1.

Q: Save Our Shelter is not coming to my city for Season 2, should I still apply?
A: Yes! There are many variables in making a show and we may have to change cities. Also, we may come to your city for Season 3, and having your information handy helps make the process smoother.

Q: What should I expect now that my shelter has been selected?
A: Congratulations! Once shelters have been selected, they will be sent a follow-up email with more information and documentation to complete the casting process.

Q: When will I know if my shelter was selected?
A: Los Angeles area selection is occurring through June and July. You will be sent a follow up email with more information. We are also choosing some back-up shelters for every city, and you will be notified if you are chosen as a back-up.
