A brainchild of former foster youth Johna Rivers and youth advocate Syd Stewart, Real To Real allows youth to bring awareness to social issues like homelessness, foster care, race relations, police brutality, immigration, sexual identity and more. Previous festivals have featured such special guests as Bill Duke, Melvin Jackson Jr., and Monique Coleman.
The festival has grown immensely since its inception and its producers can't wait to showcase this year's festivities. Special Guests will include, PERSON, PERSON, and PERSON, screening X films created by youth worldwide.
