tapping your sweet baby toes
while swaying to the swing

in your sassy dress

even if you can’t
dance

As my wasting friend
remains still

nature’s
dying

she puts all she has into her
hard shelled minutia

readying

for her numinous

birth

In the
meantime


we strain

all matter of things shall be well

‘church’ fails 
as yearnings rise

drastically

our new tribe
hears songs 
beat

across
the boundaries

then
rest up against
ancient trees
rooting us on

our lungs branch out
intermingling sobs

of joy too
as babies gasp for
blue aired commons

it’s a known catastrophe
man made religiosities
don’t.
cut.

more.

it’s enough
that

even our cloudy Unknowing
rings ‘round
