By immersing myself in nature, exploring and living fully, I have developed an understanding of my place among all the critters we share this land with. I’m able to create images that truly represent my respect and admiration of my native surroundings. Through uninterrupted observation in quiet times or exhilaration on skis, with an eye for layering and color, and a genuine appreciation of the environment, I am able to make photographs that can connect any viewer to the natural and sometimes unseen world.

Morgan C. Pihl, born and raised in Telluride, Colorado, is an award-winning photographer. He is a graduate in professional photography from the Isaacson School at Colorado Mountain College. His snow action sport images have been published in National Geographic.
