My 1st Bikini Competition

My name is Lashae Knight but some of my friends call me Ms. Knight and I don't mind, I love how it sounds. I’m soon to become a certified personal trainer through NASM and I currently have my First Aid and CPR/AED certification. I am also certified in OS Pressing Reset, which is having the ability to restore the body through basic fundamental movements, I am a online health and fitness coach, natural athlete, and aspiring NPC BIKINI COMPETITIOR.
I work for Crunch gym in Miami Beach as a personal trainer but soon I will becoming an independent personal trainer, I want to start my own personal training business. I have created several online fitness challenges where women from all over the world signed up and joined, trained both men and women privately, coached and assisted boot camps and I have also joined many fitness bootcamps, one where I have met Ms.Bikini Olympia 2012-Nathalia Melo.
As I mentioned, I am aspiring bikini competitor. I want to compete in my first bikini competition for many reasons but the main reason is Desire! To have desire for something simply means you have a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen. My desire for wanting to compete in my first bikini competition has been a long 3-year process/journey. Full of ups and downs, doubts and fears, and now faith and hopefulness.
HERE IS A BACK STORY.
I had a burning desire to compete a bikini competition since 2013, the year I graduated college with my Bachelors in Business Management from Johnson & Wales in Miami, Florida . I started prep, training 5x- 6x a week with 2 days on certain days but I convinced myself out of because it became overwhelming with trying to graduate from college, negative people opinions about my goal, and I stop trusting in myself. I convince myself that I wanted to focus on one thing at a time and bodybuilding would be always there. I hired a trainer after i graduated, but I was unhappy with the style of training so I stop prep and the cost became extremely expensive. In this time, I started a GoFund account-22 months ago to be exact, to help me pay for some of the expenses. I was able to raise money but then life happen and I felt defeated to continue on.
Today, it’s 2016 I am soon to be certified personal trainer through NASM. With my skills and knowledge, I’m going prep myself for my 1st bikini competition. Of course, it’s going to require a lot more out of me but at this point in my life I believe its what I have to do. I'm doing alot of research on competing because this type of lifestyle is completely different from your normal health/fitness. I’m going to rely on my own strength through this process and if I need a coach then I will seek for one. Follow my youtube channel for my journey to the stage.

What is it that I want to and need help with?
Furthermore, I want to do many things within the health and fitness industry but right now; I want to pursue my desire for competing in hopes to make it my professional career. I want to raise money to help support my goal. I am not sure if you know about competing but it can become extremely costly and I don't want to use this has an excuse any more. This is why I asking the world for help. The cost of registration fees, bikini, hair, nails, makeup, jewelry, shoes-the entire glamour aspect can become expensive not to mention food and supplementation. I’m asking to raise at least $1,500 to cover some of the expenses of my first show. Oh, and I did mention I graduated from college right, and my student loans are in full effect. You feel me !

The competition I’m interested in competing is IFBB/NPC Dayana Cadeau Classic – National Qualifier. It will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton, Miami Airport Convention Center, 711 NW 72nd Ave., Miami, FL 33126. If you are in Miami, please come to support me. I will appreciate it so much.
