One my quest for that summer bod I have incorporated a lot of smoothies into my diet. I TRY to have them daily to ensure I’m getting my 5-a-day! This one was soo yummy!
You will need:
- blender
- 200ml coconut water
- 2 peaches
- handful of raspberries
- handful of blueberries
- handful of strawberries
- optional: honey for extra sweetness
Tips:
- I tend to freeze a lot of my fruits (for this particular recipe I used frozen blueberries and strawberries). This makes the smoothie cold and refreshing without the use of ice which will dilute the drink, it also allows the fruit to last longer!
- NUTS for coconut! I’m utterly obsessed with coconut ANYTHING and I ensure that I incorporate coconut water in ALL of my smoothies as a base.. Not only is if yummy but it also has loads of benefits such as natural rehydration, more potassium than a banana, fat free, gluten free, cholesterol free & has 5 essential electrolytes (potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium & sodium)
- I would definitely recommend the blend active smoothie maker, its easy to use and there’s no mess or fuss involved. The drink in created in the bottle with the change of the bottle lid from the blades to the standard drinking lid. This minimises mess and speeds up the process, perfect for on the go also!
