My goal is to bring back elements of nature to the city through art. I love to share my unique Pacific Northwest perspective to advocate for art in public spaces that is bold, eye-catching, and encourages people to get out and enjoy what these communities have to offer.

ABOUT ME

Curtis Ashby is a painter and graphic designer based in the Pacific Northwest. He specializes in murals, hand-drawn illustrations, logo design, brand identity, and social media marketing, featuring bold and colorful imagery. His work has been showcased on various platforms, including apparel, community murals, magazines, and television.

Notably, Curtis was chosen by the City of Tacoma for its mural roster in 2016. Over the following two years, he crafted two murals for the city, including a 200 ft. long mural on South Tacoma Way for the Water Flume Line Trail Project. In the summer of 2019, he designed a mural for the Tahoma Audubon Society, covering the entire length of their building. His outstanding contribution earned him the Distinguished Service Community Award. In the spring 2020, Curtis participated in Spaceworks' Rapid Response Mural Project, painting boarded-up windows on three Tacoma buildings. Additionally, in December 2021, he became a member of the Metro Parks Tacoma Arts & Heritage Council.
