Review: Bronzing and contouring brush Hoola by Benefit

Hello my beautiful readers,

Today's post is for a brush that I waited to try so long.

It is from the Hoola line by Benefit released officially few months ago. Here in Bulgaria from that line came only the new liquid bronzers for face and body. In the shop it was told to me the brush might won't come in our market. I waited with hope. At the end I ordered it online and now I'm a happy owner of it.

The brush has soft bristles colored in blue and gold bamboo-like handle. So pretty. The dome shape helps to use it with precision. It is created to be use for contouring and bronzing. I use it for more - to powder full face and especially very convenient to use it under eyes. It also works well for highlighter and blush.

As summary the use of that brush is to apply: face powder, under eye powder, bronzer, contour, blush and highlighter.

In conclusion I can say this is very universal brush for powder face make up that can be used instead of 5-6 other brushes. When I pack for travel this is the brush I need.

I rate the brush with 10/10.

For all face makeup steps with powders this is the only needed brush - beautiful and does the job.

Sincerely,

Therapy for long and healthy hair. My little secrets.

Hello my beautiful readers,

Today's  article is about how to maintain hair and help it to be long and healthy.
But first a little background :) Last time I dyed my hair May 2015. Don't think that I did it myself, I was on a hairdresser. My hair ends became splitted and looked terrible. This make me not to use hair dye anymore.  Especially when I try to grown it. From that moment and on I started to try different products to help my hair to recover. I discovered the secret. The usage of three pure oils - coconut oil, castor oil and rosemary oil.

Coconut oil has nourishing and moisturizing effect and help hair to grow.

Castor oil is used successfully for treating damaged hair. It has thickening and nourishing effect. Protects hair from frizzing, retains moisture in it and stimulates its growth.

Rosemary oil is essential oil. It refreshes senses with sweet aroma, moisturizes and improves blood circulation of the scalp especially if you massage the scalp during application of the oil. Rosemary oil prevents dandruff formation and strengthens the hair.

Here is the secret: I use a combination of castor and rosemary oils in the roots of my hair as I apply them and massage the scalp at the same time using my finger tips. For the people with long manicure - massage with fingers, not with nails :) Next along the entire length of the hair to the ends I apply coconut oil. Usually I do that in absolutely free day because I leave the oils on my hair minimum for 3 hours. After I wash the hair with a shampoo and use hair mask as usual.

I take care for my hair as I described over 10 months. I saw results right after the first treating. The hair looks healthy and shiny. In long term the result is long, health and shiny hair that everyone can notice. Try out and see for yourself.

As I like red-orange shades for my hair I use henna every 3-4 months to reach this effect. The henna supports the result of healthy hair. I will describe my recipe in another article.

This therapy helps hair to renew but if you have dry split ends I recommend to remove them. Once split happens the ends cannot be "glued".

Sincerely,

Rexaline Hydrating Micellar Water - An empty bottle - Product review

I would like to share my opinion and experience about Rexaline Hydrating Micellar Water and to be more relevant I do the review when I finished the bottle. This micellar water does what other micellar waters do and it is about cleaning and hydration of the skin but with more hydration then usual.

The bottle is plastic and contain 150 ml micellar water. I used it for around a month and a half as I used it every day as part of my evening routine, even if I didn't wear makeup.

Here is the description from the  producers. It is formulated by laboratory AG Labs. It has Rexaline Complex which is hydrating hyaluronic acid duo, cucumber extract for refreshing, invigorating and hydrating, hydrating agents complex to prevent natural evaporation of water from the skin, hydrating and softening vegetable glycerine and cleansing agents for gently removing of the impurities from the skin. It is paraben and fragrance free.

This product cleanses and removes makeup and impurities from the face. It suitable to clean eyes. When I used it it was fine for the eyes and it didn't irritated them. It refreshes and hydrates the skin. At night the skin breathes, in the morning it is fresh and ready for skincare routine.

How to use it? Gently soak a makeup remover pad and apply to gently remove impurities and makeup. Use light pressure to apply to the eyes. Repeat the process until the cotton pad is clean. Do not rinse.

I did use 4 cotton pads to clean my entire face and eyes. After round 30 min I rinse it because when I use it at the evenings, in the mornings my face was a little bit oily. This happens because my skin is combined (normal to oily). I suggest this kind of use for people with normal to oily and oily skin.

Something that I notice was the change of the color of the liquid when I almost finished it. I don't know why it happened but it become yellowish. May be it oxidizes, may be something else but still did the job until I finish the bottle.

In conclusion I can say it works. My skin was clean and hydrated.

If you have opinion or would like to share something about Rexaline Hydrating Micellar Water, please comment bellow. I will be glad to have small chat.

Sincerely yours,
D.A.
