Yesterday was a lazy, homey day for me so we (me and my twin sister) decided to do some baking. As we usually opt for standard sweet cakes, we decided to do something different and went for cheese and walnut scones. I was a bit nervous as previous experimental bakes have not turned out so well but I was actually really pleased with the outcome. I would 100% recommend eating them warm straight from the oven with a little (melted) butter but they were still great the day after sprinkled with some cheese. Personally, I love the crunch of walnuts and I am always a sucker for wholemeal things so these were just my cup of tea. We used a super small cutter for these which I actually preferred as they make a perfect snack with a cup of tea.
Hi guys! Here is a lemon inspired manicure. Fruity themed nails are one of my favourites to do in summertime as I love fruit and they are always bright and colourful. I love this speckled pink nail polish that I used from primark and it was such a bargain! The yellow is my favourite Rimmel 60 seconds one, it actually has a slight shimmer to it but unfortunately my camera did not pick it up. These were really easy to do and I am really pleased with how they turned out! Do you have any suggestions for any other summery nails for me to do?
Ellena x Hi! So, as a lot of this blog is going to be about food then I thought that it would make sense for the first post to be about my diet. I recently decided to turn vegetarian (the reasons for which I may discuss in a future post) but I do still eat fish and seafood. This was not an instant decision and I have been significantly reducing the amount of meat I eat for months but only very recently decided to stop eating it. I also try to eat reasonably healthily but am a firm believer in the 80/20 diet and treating yourself every so often.
