SpringSpring has sprung and for many around the country this marks the start of a new beginning. This also holds true in the baseball world. For some players this will be the start to an amazing maybe even Hall of Fame career as Spring Training comes to a close and minor league rosters are being formed. But for others, many others; this will be the end of the road.
Growing up I had no idea how the Minor League system worked. In fact, it wasn't until I was 10 years old that I went to my first Minor League baseball game. Now some 20 years later I have seen multiple levels, spanning from Short Season Single A to AAA ball, at multiple venues and I'm still learning something new everyday. Becoming a Major League Baseball player is downright hard. Like, really hard. There are a lot of factors that need to come together in order to play in the MLB. Number one, get drafted. Simple enough right?
