I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Even as a child it was my dream to do hair and makeup. Anything beauty related was my passion and it was synonymous with who I was. Even in my youth, I quickly became the go-to person to book for all hair and makeup needs for all the school events and functions.

While still in high school, I received an internship at the renowned Marilyn Miglin Institute on Oak Street in Chicago where I trained/worked for 6 years and was eventually hired as a full time makeup artist. Marilyn Miglin always inspired me and propelled my makeup career all over the city! I’ll always remember Marilyn saying “The future of our industry is being able to do hair AND makeup together”. I went on to receive my cosmetology license from Pivot Point International in Chicago and began working at Chateau Salon. This is where I truly honed my haircut and color skills.
