Married 4 years!!! ๐Ÿฅฐ Snapped by @aleporte right before our date night! . Our wedding anniversary was actually 2 days ago on September 1st, but Alejandro and I wanted to stay off our phones and be present with each other all day. . We decided to change it up this year and celebrate at our home in Toronto where we watched our 2 hour wedding documentary for the first time ever!!!! And played video games until 3 am lol. There were lots of tears ๐Ÿ˜… It was amazing to slow down and just be home together after always being on the road. . Fun fact behind the bouquet Iโ€™m holding. Not many people know this, but we actually had 2 wedding ceremonies. One was in Malibu and the other was at the Vatican in Rome where The Pope personally blessed us and this bouquet which I will treasure forever. . My heart bursts with how much I love @aleporte ๐Ÿ˜ . PS. I bought this dress over 5 years ago and it was my first time wearing it ๐Ÿ˜…

I got a text from my friend @harimaolee at 6 am asking if @aleporte and I wanted to come to @teamlab_borderless before it even opened to the public!!! Just in time for Valentine's I've discovered the new @KAYAK #KAYAKRendezvous tool which makes it easier and affordable to meet up with your loved ones around the world! ๐ŸŽ‰ . I wish they had this when Alejandro and I were in a long distance relationship for 3 years before we got married! It would have been perfect for us since we were always meeting up in different countries! . Now it's something we will use to plan our family get-togethers around the world since my family is from Canada and his is from Spain! Sometimes we go for months without seeing our parents since we travel so much and this will definitely be useful when we plan our reunions! . It's AMAZING and so easy to use! All you have to do is enter both of your different airports, and the tool finds the best place for you to meet up in! It's like a surprise each time you plan your next trip and I love surprises, so using this tool with my family will be so great to plan epic adventures! . Sleeping under a dancing sky ๐ŸŒŒ Don't live in a bubble, sit in one instead ๐Ÿ˜œ . But seriously, on this platform we all kind of do live in a bubble and it's something that needs to be addressed by more of us! . I wrote this back in April and didn't have the courage to share it until now because I am truly in a much better place now with more balance in my life. . Please read below & in the album as I would love to hear your feedback . These are my scattered thoughts so please bear with me . Here it goes... --- I'm so tired. I'm so destroyed. I'm so overwhelmed. I'm so stressed . I look at myself in the mirror and the truth is, I don't even recognize myself anymore . The same thing which has brought me so much freedom feels as though it has also paralyzed me. . You don't know this, but I work full time while traveling . I was In Spain for almost a month back in March and the truth is, I only went outside 3 days. The rest of the time I was inside on my laptop working non stop and hardly sleeping. But you just saw the 15 second insta story and thought it was my state during my whole time there. The truth is, You only see 5 % of our lives. . You just see the success. You don't see the sleepless nights, the hard work and all the failures along the climb. . I wasn't successful for 2 years . So many quit right before the success actually happens. What if I quit after 1.5 years? So close to the point of success without even knowing . If there is one thing I believe, it's that anything is possible you set your mind to with hard work! Because the harder you work, the luckier you become. . Don't make plans. Don't settle. Don't be sad if you're not where you wanted to be at this point in your life because you're right where you're suppose to be! . Don't believe everything you see. And number one, don't compare yourself to others you see on social media! It's so important to our mental health! I am truly so grateful for all the incredible friendships and memories along the way! .
