This kid doe! 😏 @RyanSecret killin it with that outfit! This will be exactly what my kid dresses like! Any ladies out there want to help me out with making one of these? Here's the criteria for my future baby momma and WIFE: 1: You must meal prep with me every week. 2: You have to go to the gym with me everyday. 3: You have to love food just as much as I do. 4: You can't be psycho. (I'm serious) 5: You must cuddle with me and @FrenchiePhysique every night. 6: You have to have goals at all times in and out of the gym. 7: You have to be respectful and set great examples for other women. 8: You have to be funny and sarcastic or we won't get alongside. 9: @ChadMcBain has to approve of you. You wake up everyday, you look in the mirror, and you say to yourself "I can't, I'm not good enough, I'll never get there." When you have that mindset, you've already lost. It starts by winning the battle between your ears. This is a lifestyle, it's not for the lazy, it's for the dedicated. Leonardo Da Vinci once said "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." Keep it simple, don't over think the process, and don't doubt your capabilities. I earned this body because I was organized, disciplined, and won the battle with myself. My rules for success in and out of the gym: 1: Never be satisfied with where you're at in life. Always look to improve. 2: Always look to help other people with their goals. 3: You are more likely to succeed with other successful and driven individuals around you. So surround yourself with those who are hungry. 4: Set goals big and small. If you lack confidence, goal setting helps a lot. There is no substitute for the feeling of accomplishment. 5: It's always best to have an Attitude of Gratitude. 6: Take nothing for granted, if you're breathing, you are blessed. Remember that. #ThrowbackThursday What Motivates You? What Inspires You? What makes you never want to give up? Some of you have seen my transformation, most of you have not. This was me my freshman year in college 4 years ago at San Jose State University. I ran cross country, and as you can see, I didn't know what the gym was. It was around this time that a friend told me "Devin, you are too skinny, you look sick, you should hit the gym!" She had No Idea what those words did to me. They made me question myself and my life, and more importantly my future. So I made a decision, give up my scholarship (wasn't happy there) , move home, and get in the gym. For the first year I literally ATE EVERYTHING I could, going from 1-2 meals a day at 120lbs to 5-6 meals is not easy. I wanted to quit, I wanted to give up, I wanted to stop eating. People told me that I would never make it in the fitness industry, that I didn't have what it takes to succeed. People hated on me for my new lifestyle, they dropped rude comments on social media, went behind my back and talked about my choices to come home and help support my mom and sisters, they just didn't get it. I never listened, and I made a promise to myself, I told myself on the first day in the gym "Dev, from this moment forward you will never give up on yourself, and you will never give up on your dreams, and you will do everything you can to inspire others." 4 years later and I'm here, talking to you, encouraging you to believe in yourself and understand that your journey is written by YOU. YOU are in control of everything you want in this life. All you have to do is wake up with a positive attitude, block out the negativity, throw on your headphones, and just crush your goals, every single damn day. This is YOUR LIFE, not your friends, not your parents, not anyone's. It is YOURS. Do what makes YOU happy. I did, and I'll never look back. I'm @DevinPhysique, and I will never stop showing you that what may seem impossible, is indeed possible. NEVER SATISFIED, ALWAYS HUNGRY!

These obstacles were meant to happen, they were put into your life for a reason, and that reason was to test you and see what you were made of. Like MLK said "The true measure of ones character comes not when they are at peace, but when they stand in the face of adversity and controversy." If you are being tested right now don't run, stand your ground and do whatever is necessary to get through that challenge and allow that experience to build a better YOU.

Sunday Funday! Who thinks I should compete and step on stage this year?! It's been almost a year since I stepped on stage. I've put on A LOT of size everywhere. Up 20 pounds of muscle since I last competed. I definitely feel like I'd do well. Even though it's political haha. Hope you all had an amazing weekend! When you go to bed tonight write down your goals for this upcoming week. Remember that failing to prepare is preparing to fail. Make a few minor adjustments to your life, and watch how your life starts to change. Build amazing habits, and let those habits build an amazing YOU!

I've faced several obstacles in my life and on my journey in and out of the gym. Remember, successful people expect to be successful in advance. Happy people expect to be happy. These people develop the habit of expecting that something good will happen in every single situation. They expect to benefit from every occurrence and even temporary setbacks and failures because they will learn from them each and every single day. We all have bad days, it's how we react to those days and learn from them that ultimately decide how far we can go. Expect that you will be great, and you will.

Change your attitude towards everything, your job, where you live, your friends, etc. If you have a heart beat, that means you have a purpose. @FlavorGod baked potato with bacon and cheese. On your cheat days use this as a side dish. For example if you have a steak, throw this with it!
