I have travelled this route on queens Blvd for over 10,000 miles, when I started there were no bike lanes, so you didn’t feel as protected as you do now. It took me over 5 years of daily commuting to work to get so many miles. I’m doing about 4,000 miles a year now. I’ve ridden this strip in 0 degrees, blizzards, torrential rains, 95 degree heat and humidity. I’ve laughed along this route, and cried sometimes as well. I’m still looking for the answers, but all I know is I can’t stop pedaling. I can’t stop racing towards my goals. I’ve been asking for a sign, yet I forgot to remind myself that the only sign you need is your reflection in the mirror. But I took this pic of beautiful cloud and the crepuscular rays as a sign, what it means to me is that even though things may seem a little gray right now, the “Inner Sun” is right there beaming waiting to break through.
